It started with a familiar frustration.

All three of us—Aruna, Methni, and Shanaka—were working in good jobs, but whenever it came to interviews for the next big step, the struggle was the same. On paper, we were qualified. In practice, interviews left us second-guessing. Sometimes our minds went blank. Other times we couldn't structure answers the way we wanted. We walked out knowing we could have done better.

What surprised us was that it wasn't just us. Fresh graduates we mentored were experiencing the exact same thing. Senior colleagues chasing promotions felt the pressure too. It didn't matter if someone was at the start of their career or twenty years in—interviews were stressful, unpredictable, and often unfair to real talent.

We talked about it often. Why was there so much guesswork in preparing for something so important? Why did skilled people keep missing opportunities just because they weren't confident in the moment?

That's when the idea took shape: technology could help. If AI could analyze data, diagnose problems, and even hold conversations—why couldn't it help candidates prepare for interviews in a smarter, more personalized way?

And so, ConfidEdge was born.

We built it for ourselves first, to take the edge off interview anxiety. But what started as a personal solution quickly became something bigger. Today, ConfidEdge helps job seekers everywhere—graduates, professionals, and leaders alike—practice realistically, prepare thoroughly, and step into interviews with confidence.
